A Rolex Explorer 6610 from ca. 1958 with an early gilt service dial (two tone gilt OCC) that has turned a warm tropical brown, worn on a riveted Oyster bracelet with a Rolex-signed folding clasp. Gilt printing, luminous 3-6-9 Arabic numerals and the Mercedes hour hand give this 36mm Oyster the unmistakable look of the early Explorer.
