Rolex Explorer II 16570 - Polar Dial - Tritium - Watch Only (1995)

A mid-nineties Explorer II 16570 with the distinctive white "Polar" dial and matching tritium lume on the dial and hands. Powered by the flyer GMT Caliber 3185, this is the tool-watch traveler's Rolex from the era before Luminova - a genuine tritium example with the "SWISS - T < 25" dial signature.

  • Year: 1995
  • Case Size: 40mm, Stainless Steel
  • Bezel: Fixed stainless steel with engraved 24-hour scale

The Caliber 3185 was the workhorse flyer GMT movement powering the 16570 until 2005, and this tritium-lumed W-serial example represents the last generation of Rolex sports watches to use radioactive tritium before the switch to Luminova in the late nineties.
