The Rolex Milgauss is the brand's anti-magnetic tool watch, originally introduced in 1956 for scientists and engineers exposed to strong magnetic fields — most famously those working at CERN. Rolex revived the line in 2007 with the modernised 116400 case, and that same year introduced the 116400GV: the "Glace Verte" variant defined by its signature green sapphire crystal. The green crystal has never appeared on any other Rolex reference, making the GV one of the most visually distinctive watches in the modern catalogue.
