A purposeful pilot's chronograph from IWC Schaffhausen, the Doppelchronograph IW3713 features a split-second (rattrapante) mechanism that allows two elapsed times to be measured simultaneously. Its blacked-out dial, oversized Arabic numerals, and tool-watch proportions place it firmly in IWC's Fliegeruhr tradition while showcasing one of the most technically interesting chronograph movements of its era.
