A rare 1970s Omega dive watch defined by its angular Piquerez case and screw-down crown placed at 12 o'clock, designed so the crown would not dig into the wrist when worn on the left arm. Nicknamed the "SHOM" after France's Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine, which adopted the reference for official naval use in the late 1970s.
